Mason Tyler Gambill
He finally came.

Wednesday morning, I woke up around 2:15 am with contractions. They were much more painful than the others I had been experiencing, so I was hoping it was the real thing. After 3 contractions not more than 5 minutes apart, I knew I wasn't going to be able to go back to sleep. I got up, so as not to awake Brett, and began to time the contractions. I did not want to call a Dr. or jump the gun by going to the hospital, just to get sent home.
After one and a half hours of steady contractions, I woke Brett and called the Dr. We took Emery and Shilo to Grandma's house, and we headed to the hospital.
Upon arrival, they agreed my contractions were severe enough and my body was indeed in labor. We were glad that it was the real thing, and we were then admitted into labor and delivery. I received and epideral, they broke my water and I received potosin (sp) to help speed up my delivery.
At 12:20 pm, Mason Tyler Gambill was born. Weighing 7 lbs 15 oz. 20 inches long. He has a good set of lungs as he came out hollering.
He is now calm and doing well, me too for that matter. It is a bit easier the second time around, knowing what to expect and having been through it before. I can tell I am much calmer.
Enjoy the pictures. I will get a new family picture up tonight.
Emery is 3!
We celebrated Emery's birthday a week early so it could be hastle free, without an infant to care for. We kept it low key, family only and and enjoyed the festivities at Chuck E. Cheese.

Cold Days
The last two days I haven't had school because of the cold weather here. The high yesterday was -3. Burrr.
Emery got to wear her dress up clothes and watch Cinderella, and make worms out of play dough and I made cinnamon rolls.

It is nice to be able to spend some time with Emery before Mason's arrival.
