Shilo 4/26/2003-10/8/2013

Before bringing you home, we debated on what to call you.  I clearly remember pulling into the driveway, exiting the car and hearing me saying in my head “Shilo, come on girl.”  And that was it.  Your name would be Shilo.  Oh, how I cherish the countless times we uttered those words to you during our time together.

We recognize and will be forever grateful for the role you filled of first child, as we struggled to have a baby of our own.  We laugh at the memory of the day we brought Emery home, and you broke out in hives.  Nothing a little benadryl couldn’t fix.

Thank you for your unconditional love throughout these past ten years.  You were a great companion, super with the kids and always made plenty of noise to keep the solicitors away.  You are now gone, but will never be forgotten.  You will live on in our hearts and memories, and we love you forever.  Shilo, come on girl.

Easter

The easter bunny filled the baskets with jammies, and toys.
Emery showing off a new swimsuit she got.
Once Mason figured out there was candy in the eggs, he just wanted to eat it.  Here is him stuffing his face.  :)  Sadly I forgot to get the cute, new Sunday Easter clothes picture.  It will be coming soon.

Mason is 2

Here are Mason now that he is the big 2.

Snow!!!

 Getting ready to go outside.
This was Mason's first snow experience.  He loved it!
Emery just wanted to make snow angels.

5 Years Old!

Emery wanted to paint a unicorn for her birthday!  So we went to Arts on Fire with her cousins Mia and Crew.

Then we went to Noodles and Company for lunch.  She loves the Macaroni and Cheese.
Emery loves everything pink.  So strawberry ice cream it is!  We went out with the family enjoy her birthday together.
One of Emery's gifts, was her room got a makeover, it is PINK!  Emery is such a sweet girl.  I love how she cares for others.  She is sensitive and kind.  I love listening to her prayers, stories, and songs.  I feel lucky to call her my daughter!
